Squarespace offers a built-in export for blog posts as XML — better than Wix but still incomplete. Pages, portfolio items, gallery images, products, and most custom content types do not export cleanly. We handle the complete transfer using a combination of Squarespace's export tools and direct content migration for everything the export misses. Attempting a full migration yourself is possible but time-consuming and error-prone.
If your domain is registered through Squarespace, we transfer it to a registrar you control — such as Namecheap or Google Domains — before or during the migration. Your domain stays yours. If your domain is registered elsewhere and connected to Squarespace, we simply update the DNS to point to your new WordPress hosting. Either way, there is no risk to your domain.
If you use Squarespace Email Campaigns, your subscriber list can be exported as a CSV and imported into any email platform — Mailchimp, Brevo, ConvertKit, or whichever you choose.
